Nikki - Jack & Skelly

I love sketches! It’s almost like a treasure hunt to me, I get to go through all the beautiful goodies; the embellishments, journalling cards, papers and stickers to find the pieces that match well with what is shown on the sketch. We had recently gotten our family photos taken so I knew this was the story I wanted to tell and it was the perfect photo for a photo enlargement. I decided to use Traci Reed’s Jack and Skelly collection, (ex-nay the halloween) since the colours were just so perfect for the bright fall leaves in the photo!

Nicole - Strong AF

Sketches are my absolute favorite tool with scrapbooking. I love that the majority of the decision making is done for me, and I get to have fun choosing the details. When I saw the large photo block size, I knew instantly that a photo collage would be perfect for that area. The Strong AF collection was the perfect color palette for my kids school and their annual fundraiser.

Donna - My Story Matters

For my take on today’s sketch, I tweaked it a bit to accommodate the orientation of the photo I used. I followed the placement of the elements and title but put my journaling at the bottom right cluster of elements. I used the beautiful digital kit, “My Story Matters.”

Michele - Flower Child

I've cherished this photo of my niece, Emily, in my camera roll for ages! I still remember capturing the moment at her 8th birthday party when she was enjoying a cupcake. She was in the middle of laughing with a friend, frosting smeared across her face, and when I called her name, she turned and flashed me the biggest smile. This sketch, featuring one prominent photo with just the right amount of embellishment, is perfect for highlighting those unforgettable moments. The versatility of this design is something I know I’ll keep coming back to time and time again.

Shayla - Wildflower

I took the sketch and turned it 90 degrees counterclockwise to fit my picture better. My title popped out better when layered it onto my picture, so I used the extra space at the top to expand my journaling space. An excellent sketch for a title page to kick off an event or vacation album.
