Hello and welcome to the Twenty-Sixth edition of our fun series: Mix It Up Monday! We love to show you how easy it is to mix and match TRD collections to create something new and wonderful! Today we’re working with the Cider Season and Equinox collections and creating a ton of late-summer, early fall magic to get you through September!

One of my favorite things to do is mix scrapbook kits and collections. Traci’s newest collection Cider Season works fantastically with her other autumn themed collection Equinox! The florals in both are so easy to use together and make the prettiest clusters! Don’t be afraid to mix and match your stash! Something old and something new can create a fresh updated look!

For mixing up the new Cider Season collection with Equinox, I really wanted to focus on something I usually struggle to do, mixing up the papers!! Fortunately for me, these too collections mesh together so well, that this didn’t prove to be too difficult of a task! I chose the plaid blue paper from Cider Season and the floral from Equinox and absolutely love how they look together! I added some Ellies from each collection to the floral paper before printing and used leaf and word stickers from Equinox for my title and a few embellishments to wrap up this layout to document a tea party my daughter and I had together.

I loved mixing the Cider season and Equinox collection. These two collections pair together beautifully. I loved how well the colors in each collection complement each other. I used a combination of papers and embellishments from each collection to create this layout. One of my favorite elements from both collections is the florals. I used a mixture of both the digital and sticker florals from the two collections and I love the end result.

Cider season and equinox were pretty much meant to be used together…. I love that Cider Season has more fall activity images while Equinox really concentrated on summer ending images. So mixing these two kits was hands down one of the easiest Mix it up Mondays! The ledger paper in equinox was one of my favorites when it came out honestly I am always looking for a good ledger/notebook paper.. then I will always rave about Traci’s plaids so mixing that from the Cider Season was the best way to mix the two!! I will definitely be picking from these two kits for lol upcoming fall layouts!
