Twenty-Two of Our FAVORITE Layouts Using the I Voted Collection!

Want to see the team’s own favorite layouts with the I Voted collection? Well we’ve got a massive roundup of all our faves to share and inspire you!

Traci

Of the two layouts I’ve made so far with I Voted, this one is my fave because it tells such an important story to me! I also love the color blocking and the strong vertical lines, which I think makes a big impact!

Shayla

Since I don’t live in the US, I used this kit a little off brand and instead documented a story about visiting an American Aviation Museum which had a display about war time air mail. The postcard items from the kit were great to use for this purpose!

Melissa

I absolutely love the design of the Uncle Sam letters. You can pick and choose letters to spell whatever you’d like. I chose I Voted for my title.

Cassie

I was immediately drawn to the bold patterns in the I Voted collection.  I love how well they mixed together on this layout.  I loved all the ephemera pieces so much that it was hard to narrow down which ones I wanted to use on this layout.

Danica

This is my favorite layout with Traci’s I Voted collection because I just love the way it turned out. The kit and the template from Fiddle Dee Dee were the perfect combination to document our attendance at the Harris-Walz rally! This was such an awesome experience and left me feeling hopeful and very patriotic! I even added a little video of Obama! Love this collection so much and I will be definitely using it again and again!

Caroline

I really love this TN spread I created with the new collection. I opted to push myself outside of my comfort zone because I LOVED the digital embellishments and mixed media!! Despite the love I normally shy away and work with the printables only - not in this!! I worked with the digital paint splatters & other embellishments before printing and adding more!! Loved the creative play this collection inspired in me!

Allie

I don't have a lot to say yet for the 2024 elections, so I let the amazing journaling cards "speak" for me and the hope I'm feeling. Layering each piece, thinking about that joy and hope, was therapeutic, and I love that I got a fun layout out of this little therapy session

Torey

My favorite layout for the I Voted release was this page that I created to document that we are raising future voters. I used a photo of my two boys from the 4th of July (which this collection would also work so well to document) because it was very fitting! I loved using the Uncle Sam alpha from this collection to make my own title and, of course, I used a ton of the embellishments from the Ellies to achieve the final look of this page!

Nicole

I enjoyed being able to pull individual icons from the sticker pack that were more basic to mix into the strips on my layout and really allow for all the patterns to shine. Being able to go either super specific or more general in terms of icons really helps me stretch a collection.

Ronelia

This was my favourite I Voted layout because I found it truly cathartic telling this story and because I loved being able to showcase this large photo of Kamala Harris and use lots of the beautiful blue products in the collection, and the third card pack.

Vanessa

I loved working with the I voted collection for this layout. The ephemera and papers in this kit were so perfect to document going to the polls this election. I turned my photos black and white so that the collection and its beautiful colors could take center stage. The end result is a fun heavily embellished layout to document letting my vote count this election.

Becky

I loved making this layout with I Voted as there is no photo! I am so used to creating a layout with a photo that it was fun to make a page where the attention is centred on the journalling. The journal cards in this collection were really fun to work with.

Nikki

I loved using I Voted to create a 12x12 layout to document an iconic American building that we saw in Charleston, South Carolina. The font was too good not to pass up, so I was happy to send it to my cutting machine and it was a perfect fit for the layout. I printed the star background on vellum which added texture and a bit of a mixed media vibe.

Noemi

This layout using I Voted is my favorite for different reasons. This time, I was inspired more by a feeling than by a photo. I enjoyed documenting the hope we all have for a better future when we go to vote. Election season is always complex, but going to the polls shows that we care about our country. On the other hand, playing with mixed media is always fun, and I loved the Uncle Sam-style letters.

Stephanie

I love how versatile this I Voted collection is! I was able to use so much of it to document some sparklers pictures from the 4th of July.

Bruna

I love to use a bit of mixed media in my layouts. In this one I¥ve used two tones of blue for my background to match the beautiful blues in the collection. For the title I chose one of the embellishments with a statement I believe in!

Tara

Whenever I get a new collection, I like to try to find a way to use it differently than intended.  When I saw some of the papers in I Voted, I knew right away that I would be creating a Disney themed layout with it.  I used scraps from my previous layouts plus printed three more papers to back my cutfile and create my background for this Disney layout.

Beth

This collection was the perfect prompt for me to create this layout about the General Election that we had here in the U.K. back in July. I love the bold statements and patterns and can’t wait to the gorgeous papers & cards for other projects - the red, white & blue is perfect for us Brits too!

Luly

I love all the elements that Traci includes in her kids. For I Voted my favorite was all of the friendship bracelets that she put in! I loved having a kit that is so at the moment with the elections that are happening tomorrow in the US

Theresa

I loved working with the I Voted! Collection from Traci Reed Designs so much this month, because it inspired me to document elections and voting in a different - and exciting! - way! This was my favorite layout I created because the word art that I used for the cut file is so striking! It really pops against the mixed media background and supports the photo and the story perfectly. All around perfection!

Tracie

I so love this collection and we are all so excited to vote this year! We have two early birds in our family, my husband and son, and two who like to vote on election day, myself and my daughter. This is such a huge collection, there is plenty of product for multiple layouts… one down, one more layout to go!
