Hybrid Hijinks With Sara: Stamping
Hello Everyone! Sara with you today! I am so excited to share my first project for this new series! I hope you will come and join me each month. I will be sharing tips, tricks, and ways of pairing beautiful hybrid products with tools and techniques you already have in your craft room!
For today’s post, let’s talk stamping!
When you print papers and embellishments at home to scrapbook with …what do you use? Ink! So the paper you are printing on is already made to accept ink…and what do most of us have in our craft rooms that we can use to add more ink to our paper? Stamps of course!
I used the My Person line to create my page. I thought the soft greens and pinks looked so good with my photos, even if the photos have a definite fall vibe. One of my favorite things to do with my TRD collections is to show off how completely versatile they are!
I used one of the patterned papers as my background and used stamps to help reenforce my vertical design.
My title is one of the Journal Cards adjusted for size and I created my clusters with the sticker elements. I added in some stamped flowers. This helps the ink colors to really become a part of the overall design. It looks cohesive by adding both stamped and hybrid elements to my clusters!
I hope you will head over to my You Tube channel and check out the whole process on my channel-
And the next time you sit down with one of Traci’s amazing collections, give a thought to the stamps and ink you have in your stash and consider pairing them together. You won’t be disappointed!
