Gratitude Album Foundation Pages Part 2 by Theresa Using the Goldenrod Collection!

Hi friends, Theresa here with the second half of my base pages for my November Gratitude album.

If you haven’t seen the first half, you can check them out here!

I am using a Citrus Twist Life Crafted Album for this project, with a combination of full pages, pocket pages, and probably some inserts and different things along the way.

I had already developed my concept for this album and created half of the foundation pages already, so finishing these up went pretty quickly. I took an opportunity to add a few cut files, plus a pocket. Also, I decided to take the album through Thanksgiving and end it on the 24th. That gives me a bit of time before December Daily starts just to take a break!

I also have a few tips for you about what you can do next to prepare for the month and some thoughts to take with you.

  1. Decide on how many days you want to include in your album, or how many stories you want to tell. Even though I have numbered all my pages, it doesn’t mean that the stories will necessarily be from that particular day. You could choose to tell 20 stories from the whole month. You could even tell 15 stories from 7 different years, if you wanted. The purpose is to create a home for the photos and stories you want to remember from this month.

  2. Print and cut another batch of die cuts, stickers, word art, or other hybrid elements to use as you complete your album. These items can remain on your desk for easy access.

  3. Keep a journal on your phone for the stories, funny things that were said, memes, photos, selfies, anything you find throughout the month. This will make it easier to locate the things you want to include.

  4. Of course, order your photo paper, ink cartridges, Silhouette blades, and adhesives!

  5. See your foundation pages as neutral backgrounds, so you feel more free to add stories and

photos even if they don’t seem directly related to gratitude or fall.

I look forward to filling this album and will be sharing completed pages with you very soon!
