December Daily 2022: Day 13

On the 13th day of December, my first nephew and his wife had their first baby! It ended up that the foundation page I created with the CTK Winter Magic Digital Paper during my Stress-Free December Daily Prep Day 7 Video was absolutely PERFECT for new baby photos!

First, I’d like to explain that I blurred the photo for privacy 💙 but I just new this page would be so pretty and soft for baby photos. I had the back side of a 6.5x8.5 envelope from yesterday to work with as my main layout page, and then I decided to add smaller photos and bits of journaling under the flaps on the right hand page.

The Color Cast Designs acrylic from the November kit was a perfect match for the CTK Winter Magic Digital Paper, Cards, and Elements, so I knew they must be paired together! I used my trusty American Crafts foam alphabet to add “a new” to the title and one of my gold-foiled numbers from my Candy Coated Christmas collection to finish off the page.

I love the shine of the gold on that number, so I made sure to add a few gold foil stars on the layout too!

The right hand side needed a little re-working, as it initially said “family” but I replace the word with the baby’s name using one of my favorite go-to Citrus Twist alphas, then added some more stickers, chip board stars and stickers to the page to fill it out.

Off camera, I added some photos of my adorable great-nibling and family, as well as some journaling under the flaps!
