Cassie - Renewal
I really love creating grid layouts and this sketch made this so easy and yet a little different with everything on an angle. I managed to use 10 different patterned papers on this page from the Renewal collection.
Luly - The Manuscript
I love using sketches for my digi pages! Here I had some extra photos I really wanted to highlight in a beautiful way. One of my favorite kits from last year was Traci’s The Manuscript collection and I’ve been wanting to find the right pictures to use. These are from some big events from June - so I made them black & white and created a beautiful page with lots of the pattern paper from the collection. I left some squares solid so I would a have few spots to layer my embellishments as well. I love this sketch which allows you to use so many different patterns in an easy way!
Melissa - The Manuscript
I chose to use the Manuscript collection. It has neutral tones and a real vintage vibe. I love the vintage script, newsprint, mixed media, and modern classic collage look. I'm not a Swifty but Traci says this collection was inspired by Taylor Swift. It was perfect to document photos of my daughter all dressed up for her Winter Formal school dance.

Celia - Love Potion
Sketchy Sunday #59 has the opportunity for so many patterns so I jumped at the chance to use 8 of my favorites from the new Love Potion collection. I work with an odd size page so I had to modify the sketch to fit my needs: printing my photos at 3x4s and angling them slightly less than the sketch. I cut down my patterned papers to slightly smaller than 2 inch squares, used an old stamp to add "stitching" and roughed up each of their edges to add some texture. Another way I changed the sketch to make it my own was by moving where my title went to better suit the glitter words "spellbound" from the Love Potion embellishments and "by spaghetti" that I made with one of the 3 sets of Love Potion alphas.
Donna - Bookish
I used the TN papers in this sketch instead of the 12x12 ones. The size of the patterns is just perfect for those 2x2 squares. I made a bit of adjustment to the photo orientation and added another layer that served as a photo mat.
