TRD Presents: 4x4 Friday Lives: Episode #4

The final TRD 4x4 Friday Live was a success! this layout might be my fave of the bunch! The challenge was ROYGBIV and I decided to tackle my rainbow of scraps leftover from other layouts and create this cute heart flower in the center of my page!

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, during the entire month of August, I’m scrapbooking LIVE on YouTube every Friday night at 9 PM EST and at the kickoff party, we rolled the dice to find out what the challenges were going to be all month long!

I also decided to dig deep into my Cocoa Daisy and Citrus Twist stash to offload a ton of puffy stickers that were waiting around to be used!

I tried to incorporate them into the color families that were already on the page for a more seamless look.

I also matted my photo on another scrap of black and white paper and then my whole layout on black cardstock to incorporate the black ink splatters into the layout and ground the whole thing.

One thing that I learned about myself after a month of lives is that they don’t bring me joy, but rather stress me out, so I won’t be continuing this series - but I enjoyed the lessons learned!
