Here in the northern hemisphere, we’re in that place where it feels like winter is NEVER going to end, so the TRD team is bringing on SPRING today with these amazing spring-inspired projects! I don’ t know about you, but I’m definitely feeling the sunshine after scrolling through these amazing pages!
Erika - Keep Chasing Rainbows
Hi everyone! Erika here. Today I'm sharing a page I made using the Keep Chasing Rainbows collection. The beautiful flowers, clouds and rainbows reminded me of our Seattle seasonal transition from winter to Spring. And one of the things we absolutely love to do when it starts warming up is to head outside for arts and crafts time! My free spirited kiddo is 4 and loves to get crafty (read: make a mess). She has a passion for creating that gives her little eyes such twinkles.
For this page, she was painting, so I backed the enlarged "You Shine" ephemera with lots of Distress Oxides. I stitched zig zags on top of that, and layered some doodads from the same collection. I added my typed journaling and date stamp and called it done. I hope this inspires you today!
Tracie - On The Go & Going Slow
I so miss those spring park days when my kids were little! I’m in the process of going back and finishing up albums from those years and I found these photos of my daughter. I picked On The Go & Going Slow for these because the color palette so perfectly matched my daughter’s dress. The flowers from this kit are perfect for spring and the bee theme is so on point for my busy little girl!
Danica - Here Comes The Sun
When I think of Spring I think of sunny blue skies, rainbows, and butterflies. The 2021 Freebie - Here Comes The Sun is a perfect collection for a Springtime layout! It is just a joyful collection in my opinion. My friend’s daughter Mae holding a bouquet of dandelions is the perfect Spring image for me. The yellows in the kit play off the yellows in her bouquet. The layout came together quickly and I just love how it turned out. I also used a template from Fiddle Dee Dee called Fold ‘em dressed down.
Leontine - Keep Chasing Rainbows
When you ask me what my favourite season is, I say spring immediately, 100%. I love spring because the world comes alive. Flowers start to bloom, people go outside more often, the sun shows herself. It seems the world becomes more colourful. I feel like I am a different person when I feel the sun on my skin and hearing birds in the morning. I love it.
So when I needed to make this spring layout, it was not very difficult to choose a digital kit for it. Keep Chasing Rainbows is the perfect kit for a spring layout. Lots of bright colours in dots, stripes, flowers and plaids. That only will bring a smile to your face.

When I think of spring three things come to mind- light bright colors, flowers,and my oldest son who was born in May. So I combined those three elements on my page to create a springy feel. I used the On The Go & Going Slow line which to me, just sings spring!
