Scraplift Saturday - Hybrid Team Member Caroline!

Hello beautiful people! It’s Scraplift Saturday and today we’re scrap lifting one of the newest hybrid additions to the TRD team, Caroline! Caroline started out as a guest team member but she quickly went full time because I fell in love with how detailed and amazing her layouts are - I could look at her gallery for hours!

Caroline pays special attention to texture and distressing on her layouts, so each one is a treat!

Traci - The Love List

When it came to my layout, I had some photos in mind already, so when I found Caroline’s layout with photo strips that would allow 8 photos, it was love at first sight! I always admire Caroline’s use of space and her freeform style, so I imitated it pretty closely on my own page, eve inking the edges of my layout, something I rarely do but Caroline does a lot! It added so much to the page!

Cheryl - On The Go and Going Slow

I love tucking all kinds of embellishments on my pages, so I'm not surprised I chose this page. I chose this layout by Caroline because I was drawn to the split background papers and the circular elements running down the center of the page. I also loved all the labels and word strips, tags and flowers that spread out from the vertical strip.

Suzanne - Ex Libris Galaxias

I love the layout! The tags where a super smart idea so I lifted that idea and made the tags to go on my book journal page. I used the Ex Libris Galaxias Collection, and even though it is a lift, it looks so different with another theme!

Chantal - The Love List

I love a big focal point on a layout and this design by Caroline is super versatile. On this layout you can add tons of ephemera or only a little bit and it always comes out nice.

My lift is a close one this time. I only added some Distress Oxide on the background. This way the papers and white background blend better together and gives it a softer feel.

Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick are a perfect match for the Love list papers and embellishments.

Thays - My Story Matters

I chose this lift because of the explanatory journaling next to the photos. As my photos are from different moments, I needed to explain each of those moments.
