Raechelle - Festive

Just about all of Brianna’s pocket layout inspired me, so I went with this one which inspired me to use the wonderful Christmas papers from the ‘Candy Coated Christmas’ as well as a few bits and pieces from ‘Festive’ collections. I love how she packs so much joy on her beautiful pages!

Donna - True North

I WAS INSPIRED TO USE THE TN PAPERS IN THE KIT THEN PUT THEM ON A 12X12 BASE PAPER. FROM THERE, I DECORATED MY LAYOUT USING THE STICKER AND ELEMENT PACKS. I LAYERED AND CLUSTERED EMBELLISHMENTS USING FLOWERS, LEAVES AND JOURNAL CARDS.

If you’ve ever seen Brianna’s IG feed you know that she creates beautiful pocket pages with tonnes of journalling (which I love, love, love!) and lots of white space (something I struggle with!!).
I took inspiration from those main 2 points and did my best to emulate that in my own pocket page spread! If you’ve followed me for a long time you will know that my love of scrapbooking started with pocket pages and they were always filled with lots & lots of little details which I really tried to keep a handle on while lifting Brianna.
I haven’t achieved her look of clean and modern but I definitely took inspiration from her pages and did not add as much as I would normally and love how I’ve documented our everyday stories from January 2021. I believe this truly shows how you can use someone else’s work as inspiration without it being an exact copy! Thanks for helping me step a little out of my comfort zone Brianna!!
