Memory Planning with Printables!

Hi there! Melinda here with you today sharing one of my current favourite ways of memory keeping using the brand new Our Story Matters collection!

If you’ve ever watched or read any of my posts using any of Traci’s gorgeous collections you will know that one of my most favourite things about these collections is that you can print them as many times as your heart desires and in ANY size at all!!

Super handy, if like me, you love memory keeping in numerous ways!

Today I’m working in my Standard size MAMBI Happy Planner.

The first thing I did was import all of the files and photos into PhotoShop that I wanted to use and re-sized them to be“just the right size” to fit the boxes. And then I print and cut - both using my cameo and fussy cutting the simple boxes.

With all of that done, the very first thing I ALWAYS do is add in my photos and journalling boxes. And sometimes a few extra embellishments because “I just can’t resist this little piece!” Which leaves me with something like this…

Next up is my journalling because not every story is what is obvious in the photo.

And not every story even has a photo!

And then I get to add all the extra pretty things!

Oh, and stamping!! I am totally loving stamping in my Happy Planner so far this year!

I couldn’t wait to match some Distress Oxide colours with the Our Story Matters collection and in some stamping!

The colours I chose are: Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, Dried Marigold, Broken China, Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon.

At this point I am looking for stamps that will go with or enhance what is already on my page. Or sometimes what works perfectly with a particular story.

Normally, the last thing I add is the date stamping.

I normally will pick a colour that I feel like is less obvious/bold in my design and in this case I chose Spun Sugar.

And that, my scrappy friends, is another week recorded in my Happy Planner and I just love how it came together!

Traci’s printable collections are so fun to play with and I truly cannot say enough just how much I love that you can print them as many times as you like and at ANY size you like!

I hope that you have enjoyed my share today and that I have helped you to think perhaps a little outside of the box - though in this case - it’s totally INSIDE the box ;)
