Memory-A-Day-Layout with Emiley!
Hey, guys! Emiley here - I thought for my first TRD blog post, I would share one of my favorite types of layouts….a Memory-A-Day layout!
In addition to scrapbooking, I also love decorative planning and I find that the Memory-A-Day layouts I create in my planners are a fun and simple way to preserve every day life moments. You could certainly add pictures, but I choose to just write out my memories and let a scrapbook collection be the star of the show. For December, I chose to use The Naughty List. This collection is absolutely amazing - the colors and embellishments are right up my alley!
I like to start my layout by printing out all of the embellishments I want to use for the month and cut them out with my cricut. I do this all at once so I don’t have to worry about getting out my computer/printer/cutting machine every day when I want to record my memories. Then I white out the “extras” on the monthly calendar page that I don’t need.
Next, I layout the “base” of the page. I love the houses and trees in The Naughty List collection - since there were several open days at the beginning of the calendar, it worked out perfectly for me to line some up there! I also love to fill up the sidebar with goodies and these Christmas trees were just perfect.

Then, I pick something I want to remember from each day and write that memory on it’s corresponding day on the calendar. I like to use pens/markers that coordinate with the colors in the collection to do my writing. I also like to add an embellishment/label/sticker from the collection for each day and I will sometimes add my own doodles. Super simple!
At the end of the month, you will have a calendar filled with moments to remember for each and every day! I always love to flip through my full and brightly filled pages and walk down memory lane.
