The TRD Team absolutely BLEW ME AWAY this year with their skill and amazing creations. I am so blessed to have such an AMAZING team working with my product every month. I hope they inspired you this year as well! Below, each team member has chosen their favorite layout of the year to show off and are explaining why it’s their fave in their own words! This post is totally pinnable so make sure you save some inspo for later!

Nicole - Equinox

Hey all, Nicole here with my favorite layout that I made for Traci Reed Designs this year. I made this with the Equinox collection and love every bit of it. I printed out some of the solid colored papers to make the fringe that is just peeking out of the leaf cut. Then I used a colorful plaid to mat my photo on. Finally I used lots of the stickers to add just the right amount of “frosting” to this page. I hope you love this layout as much as I do, and I hope it inspires you to make something fun with your Traci Reed Designs collections!

Melinda - Festive

This was a HARD decision to make!!! But I think my most favourite creation with TRD goodies this year has to be my “10 Years of Pixie Adventures” 12 x 12 layout with the Festive Collection!
This was created very recently but I think the things that make it my favourite is the super fun colours, the more “girly” touches and heck, just Pixie!! As much as that elf causes me grief through out December, I really do love having her around! This layout totally captures so many memories for me and I just love that so much!!

Tarrah - Bountiful

Hi everyone! It's Tarrah here, I am sharing my favorite layout that I created for Traci Reed Designs this year. I have chosen my pumpkin layout featuring the beautiful Bountiful collection! I just love the vertical design and that gorgeous plaid paper and I also love that photo of my son from when he was about 2 - he is 18 now!

Becky - Galentines

I have created so many layouts using collections from Traci this year that I found it difficult to choose a favourite! However chose this one as I love the colours and the hexagons and the fact I’ve incorporated flowers from the digital kit as well as embellishments from the stickers. It also records such a happy day and the wonderful relationship I have with my daughter-in-law.

Luly - Haunting

My favorite layout with Traci’s goodies this year was one 1 made for my October Daily with the Haunting Collection! I asked everyone in my family what was their favorite Halloween candies and the answers really surprised me! I love the 2x2 pocket page protectors - they are always so fun - & of course along with the Snapchat Filters which Halloween even more fun.

Donna - Festive

This particular Festive layout I made is by far my most favorite. Christmas is my favorite season and as I said before, Traci really captured the essence of the festive season in this wonderful kit. I love the color palette and the various adorable patterns and elements, especially the flowers, of which I made use abundantly here in my layout!

Noemi - Bountiful

I am absolutely thrilled with this layout using the Bountiful Collection. The bold colors and the mandala-like frame make it a true statement piece! Creating this project was a joy, and it's now among the decorations in my scraproom.

Theresa - Haunting

Choosing a favorite layout from this whole year was super hard and also super fun! There have been so many amazing collections released and each one has stretched me creatively. I ended up choosing this one from the Haunting collection around Halloween. It was so much fun to bring to life, designing each layer and giving the layout so much depth. I also love the story telling of the happy ghost on her trick-or-treat adventure. I am super in love with this method of memory keeping and love that it has sparked a whole new style of documenting for me!

Tracie - Equinox

My favorite layout of 2023 using Traci’s products is the page I did about my kids hunting for frogs back in 2009. I used the Equinox collection and it was the perfect kit for these photos! I missed scrapping several years worth of photos around that time and I love that Traci’s products inspire me to get them scrapped!

Elena - Bountiful + Ex Libris Galaxias

I've only been in dt for a short time and I haven't created many layouts! But definitely my favorite is the mium Bountiful+Ex Libris Galaxias! It was a great challenge for me, combining the two collections! And I must say that I wasn't disappointed with the result!

Danica - Hocus Pocus

This is one of my favorite layouts of 2023 using Traci’s designs! I used her Hocus Pocus Halloween collection with a Christmas template from another designer and made what I feel is a super cute birthday layout! Traci’s designs are always great to have in your stash because they really are versatile!

Vanessa - My Story Matters

Being asked to choose one favorite layout for the year was hard but ultimately, I chose this layout using the My Story Matters collection. The background was made using the digital kit. I love using the digital elements in Traci’s collections to create my own backgrounds. This layout combines both they hybrid and digital kits and I loved the end result.

Caroline - Moonlit

I found it tough to pick my favourite layout of 2023 as I love all of Traci’s collections and working with them is so fun!!
This one won for a few reasons! It is the first time I tried a hybrid page rather than just working with printables - the mixed media background and texture is all digital from the Moonlit collection - put together in Photoshop and then printed out.
I LOVE the versatility of Traci’s collections - the Digital kit is always packed full of elements and if I don’t like what I create I don’t need to print it until I do!!! I also trialled an A4 page size with this layout and forgot how much I love it! I’m going to work at this size more in 2024 as it means I’ll be able to print some background papers at home on my printer! Yay to this and the next collection!!

Ronelia - Fierce

Hi everyone! Here is my favourite TRD layout I made this year. It was made well before I was on the DT and I love it because the amazing Fierce Collection allowed me to tell a truly personal and meaningful story. I was so grateful, and continue to be grateful that Traci released a Pride collection.

Emiley - Aflutter

I chose this layout using the Aflutter collection as my favorite of the year. This collection is so incredibly sweet and the colors coordinated perfectly with the colors in my photos. Being able to use Traci’s free sun cutfile was the icing on the cake of this layout for me!

Karidan - Haunting

Picking a favorite layout from this year was ROUGH!! Being my first year with Traci’s Creative team has been such a wonderful experience and pushed my creativity along with the amount of stories I have told in such a positive way that I loved sooo many!! I choose this one from the Haunting kit though because I do believe this was one of my most eye catching layouts I have done! Besides Christmas, October is one of my favorite times to capture and being able to go back and finally get years past stories in our albums is so special to me!! My next favorite would be the start of our Chicago album but she said Layout not a whole album!! Haha Can’t wait for 2024 and all the stories!!!

Torey - Bountiful

I’ve been able to create so many projects that I have absolutely adored with Traci’s collections this year. It was tough to choose a favorite but the Bountiful collection really spoke to me and I love going back to this particular layout and just looking at it, so it definitely has to go up as my favorite layout for this year! I cannot wait to create more layouts in 2024!

Raechelle - Festive

I just love how these Advent boxes turned out- the Festive collection brought so much joy to them!

Trish - Weekender

Picking a favorite layout for 2023 was way harder than I was expecting it to be. I went back and forth between which called to me emotionally, showed my abilities technically, and what just said, “HEY PICK ME!” I ended up picking my Goofballs layout using the Weekender Collection for the July Scraplift of Vanessa because I felt like it just showed ME the best - my style, my abilities, and the way I have been trying to embrace bringing silly and happiness back into my layouts even when I don’t feel that way.

Cheryl - Haunting

This is my favorite layout because my sister is so darn cute in her homemade costume AND because I was able to take this heritage photo from the 1970’s and combine it with Traci’s Haunting Collection and they matched beautifully! Not all heritage or vintage photos need a vintage collection.

Ophelia - Haunting

This is my favorite layout because it has one of my favorite Halloween photos where I love how I took the shot and edited it. Then when I scrapped it, the page came together so easy and looked amazing.

Celia - Festive

Choosing my favorite TRD project was actually quite hard considering I've only been on the team a few months and only had three to choose from! But I think my favorite would have to be the tip I shared about embossing freshly printed vellum! It opens up so many possibilities for more texture and color!

Allie - Moonlit + Sunkissed

My favorite layout of the year is heavily influenced by it being inspired by my favorite EVENT of this year… a road trip to see the Eras tour! I also love that it combines two really fun collections. I created this page for the “Mix it Up Monday” challenge, where were challenged to combine two collections on one page– here I am combining the Sunkissed and Moonlit collections– I knew that I really wanted to highlight the gorgeous papers, so I wanted a background that allowed me to use as many of the papers from both collections as possible. While the colors are pretty different in each collection, there are some common colors, so I made sure to incorporate solids those as some of the squares– making a pattern between solid papers and patterned ones, just to give your eyes a little bit of a rest before I put even more embellishments on top. While there’s no journaling on the page, the photo I used is from the Taylor Swift concert where the celebrations went from during the day to late late at night… so Sunkissed to Moonlit was the perfect transition! I added in the “Enchanted Evening” word bits too because I was … enchanted to “meet” Taylor!
