December Daily 2020: Day 7
Happy Day 7 of December Daily, y’all! Today in my album I’m talking about the annual “holiday drink” run to Starbucks for the kids! I had this big plan for the day that I created in full, and then I REMEMBERED that I had this adorable shaker page that I made during my advent series that I forgot to use, so this page is VERY extra, but that’s ok!
I started with the back side of yesterday’s pocket page and added a photo + card and then since I had the backside of that cute award to work with, I backed it with ANOTHER cute circle that I made during my December Advent IGTV video series so that I wouldn’t have to see the back of yesterday’s. Then I decided to get REAL extra and added sequins to the pocket and sealed it with my Fuse tool!
I also created this beautiful stamped divider page using stamps by Kellie Stamps (“but first) and Catherine Pooler (coffee cups + hearts) on vellum with Catherine Pooler inks - which was quite a learning curve, as you’ll see in the video! Also, vellum is HARD to stamp on!
Turn the divider and you see this cute photo of my BIG and LITTLE in front of the tree with their hot chocolates - the size difference CRACKS ME UP!
Finally, once I remembered this shaker page, I had to figure out what to do with the back side of the photo, so I used more of the Cranberry Rose collection to embellish it and create a card with our seasonal Starbucks orders!
It worked out fine because now I’m glad I have this little bit of the story I didn’t have before! You can see the whole process in the video below!
