Create an Interactive 6x8 Page To Track Your Reading!
For this project,I thought about making a booklet with pockets to hold the cards and the amazing reading trackers of this collection!
I created my base by printing a patterned paper on both back and front of an 8.5x11 sheet.
I trimmed down this paper to 7.5x11 and scored it (on the 11” side) at 3, 6 and 9 inches.
Then I rotated the paper and scored it at 5 inches
Next I cut the vertical score lines below this last score, like the photo below.
I then cut these pieces diagonally at 1 and 2 inches. See what it looked like below:
Then I put the glue in just the side of the piece making a pocket.
I did it this all 4 pieces, changing the side that I glued to the booklet.
I glued some ribbon to the back of the booklet for a closure and put photos, cards and the reading trackers in the pockets/pages.
I think it's a great way to make an interactive page in your album and you can add more journaling and photos too. Hope you try it and have fun!
