It’s concert season in this house and today I’m telling the story of my middlest’s second Christmas Choral concert!
Day 10
I love the style of church that these concerts are performed in, they make gorgeous and dramatic backdrops for photos, but whooooo boy are they RED! I had a bunch of photos I wanted to include of this night, but I didn’t want the page to be too overwhelmed, so I decided to pair a large photo with the waterfall page I created in my Stress-Free December Daily Prep Day 6 Video!

The waterfall pull is the perfect way to include a bunch of smaller (and lower quality, since most are heavily zoomed in) photos on the page without creating a visually distracting collage….after all, the main star of the spread should be that stunning large photo of my kid in a tux!
I didn’t want to add too much to the main photo, but that bright red carpet was crazy visually distracting, so I added a few darker pieces to it so that it wouldn’t be so overwhelming.
On each of the flaps of the waterfall pull, I created a small collage with each of my photos and a few stickers/die cuts. On the top flap, I left journaling spots for small captions for each of the photos. I also added the number and another journal spot to the waterfall pull to tell the overall story of the night.
