We Love Food...and Scrapping it!

It’s time to head into the holiday season and you know what the centerpiece of the holidays are….FOOD! So the team and I are bringing a post this week to inspire YOU to scrap your culinary adventures! Whether you love to cook or love take out, everyone loves a good food selfie, but what do you DO with them all? Let us inspire you!

Sara - #foodie

Sara is part of a family of foodies! She wanted to document the story of her oldest son’s misunderstanding of the sushi menu and she needed a lot of dedicated writing space. So she used one of the TN signatures from the #foodie collection to add a big journaling spot and she was good to go! TN signatures aren't just for scrapping small! Also included, lots of different patterned papers and the cutest raw salmon and shrimp elements from the sticker kit.

Eve - #foodie

Eve used the #foodie collection to scrap her pictures of when she tried to make a traditional dish from her mom's hometown. She layered up the stickers on this happy page and paired the collection with up-close photos of making the dish and the finished product!

Sabrina - #foodie

Hey everyone. I decided to document how I’m always in the kitchen using the #foodie collectio. To find photos I use a favorite trick which is to use Google Photos to pull up photos from me in the kitchen. I then used a 2 x 2 pocket page to add in all the photos and also shrink down 2 journaling cards- “nom nom nom” and “good food and good mood” . For some white space I added in 2 pockets that just had a few die cuts on them. The left side has my two favorite kitchen photos (one was taken by my son just this last summer!) and I layered in papers and all kinds of die cuts.

One fun trick I did was to take the yellow paper and also scripted foodie word paper that was black and white and overlay them in Photoshop Elements. This turned the yellow paper into a scripted paper and was perfect for my page. I’m glad that I finally have a story told of being in the kitchen as it can feel like it’s my main office.

Traci - Foodie

Traci enjoys scrapping about all her cooking exploits, since her family doesn’t appreciate her, she appreciates herself in her Life Crafted album - LOL!

For this first page, Traci designed the layout in photoshop before printing the pieces exactly the size she needed and re-assembling in her album on paper.

Traci - #foodie layout #2

This layout has an insert in the middle, using the TN signatures to divide the page, with Traci’s menu plan on the front, and one of the snarky TN signature quotes on the back.
