Have you ever considered the wonderful world of scrapbooking projects inside a journal? It's not only easy and fulfilling but also a fantastic way to document your memories in a compact and personalized format. And with the addition of monthly title cards, planning your journal becomes even easier and more enjoyable.

To create a well-balanced spread, I like to select a vibrant, multicolored paper for one side, while choosing 2-3 single colored solid or patterned papers for the opposite page. Adding 1-2 neutral colored papers brings a touch of versatility and balance to the overall design. Whether you prefer working with physical materials from your stash or creating digitally through platforms like Canva, the possibilities are endless.

To ensure your projects are printed true to size, I recommend downloading an online ruler image and placing it at the top of your pages. This allows for precise adjustments in the print preview screen, especially if you're using an Epson printer. For Canon Pixma users, the ruler can still come in handy to maintain consistent sizing throughout your projects.

Embrace the joy of creating scrapbook pages in your journal, where every memory can be cherished in a compact and visually stunning format. So grab your supplies, let your creativity flow, and enjoy the process of bringing your memories to life on those beautifully crafted pages.

Remember to save this blog post for future reference and share it with fellow scrapbook enthusiasts who may find it helpful. Happy journaling and happy scrapbooking!

Using the Traci Reed Happy Day collection for my May planner I focused on the theme of celebrate- I loved the amazing colors and stickers and ephemera in this collection , it’s not just a scrapbook but perfect for a planner as well.

The great thing about digital collections are they are amazingly versatile- and the labels , stickers , arrows are perfect for planners and the skies the limit just grab your computer - your mouse and your planner and take a leap !

Melinda - Smitten

Fun fact: My memory planner is one of the first things that had me downloading and printing my own Traci Reed goodies!!

My top favourite things about Traci's collections are:

  1. They are printable AS MANY TIMES as I want

  2. I can print them ANY SIZE I like

  3. Almost every single collection is SO versatile that it can be used for just about anything!!

I have created a template that I use in Photoshop Elements where I can drag and drop the selected cards/pattern papers AND my photo's and get them the exact right size for my Big MAMBI Memory Planner.

I've put together my first week in February 2023 for my planner using the gorgeous Smitten collection this way. I have included a "how to" video as well as a copy of the template I use if you would like to use it too!! Please know that I am self taught with PSE and that is all I know how to use this template in PSE!!

I hope you find it useful!
