Caroline - Hygge Season

I always love working with Traci’ sketches. This year, I am working predominantly in a travellers notebook with the products from Traci’s collections, which meant I needed to translate this sketch from 12 x 12 into a TN - easy as Traci always considers different con as sizes when creating her sketches! I wanted to follow the sketch pretty closely, but because of the split in the centre of my canvas, I decided to put the circle elements on more of a diagonal angle so that they spread across The divide. I’m also currently embracing a more minimal look in my scrapbook style, so decided to switch out the layered background with white card stock, but loved, adding ink splatters for that extra interest and texture. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the team and you create with this fab sketch.

I used the sketch as is.. I added lots of layers of flowers and other elements to create great depth to the layout.

Luly - Sunkissed

While its cold and gray outside I love to go back and document all my travel photos since summer is always too busy a time of year to get a lot of scrapping done. I also love that the warm weather vibes get me through the long cold winters in Chicago! Traci’s Sunkissed collection was perfect to document some of the fun we had a the pool in Puerta Vallarta last year!
