The Manuscript Team Instagram Hop!

Happy Instagram Hop Saturday! Today we’ve got ten amazing projects for you using the brand new collection, The Manuscript! The team really knocked it out of the park with their amazing projects and you’re going to be so inspired!

Traci

How could I not scrapbook a page about the album that inspired the whole thing? I leaned heavily into the built-in mixed media for this page and had a BLAST!

Nicole

Hey all! Today I’m sharing this layout of my gorgeous niece.  To start this page I printed off several of the papers from the new The Manuscript collection.  I then cut the star paper to 8 ½ x 8 ½ , the small star paper to 6x6 and the rose paper to 5x5.  I had two photos of my niece each at 3x4.  I layered up all my papers as shown then added my pics with some dimensional foam tape.  Next I printed out some of the stickers from the collection and added them around my page as well as an acrylic title.  To finish I added some wood veneer, flowers, and half pearls from my stash.

This TN signature from The Manuscript by @tracireed was perfect for this photo of my daughter using her typewriter! I couldn’t resist adding the typewriter sticker too and then embellished with a few flowers and lots of butterflies. Some Nuvo Drops and gems finished up this simple spread for my Life Crafted style album. Layout based on a sketch by @dearlydee.

I’ve been meaning to create a place to store inspirational and meaningful quotes from the books I read and The Manuscript has inspired me to do just that!

Working in a simple dot grid notebook as my background I am LOVING compiling my notes and working with the stunning stickers from the sticker packs.

The icons are perfect and the neutral colour scheme is so beautiful and powerful. I am already turning to this little notebook to re-read quotes and know it will be a resource I use for quite some time.

I am LOVING The Manuscript collection for documenting older photos of me and my husband! For this specific layout, I layered together some of the papers and digital elements (the title, the doily, and stitching ellies) before printing. I added a bunch of layers behind my photo and also created two layered tags with some of my paper scraps to create a small embellishment cluster.

The new Manuscript collection is perfect for documenting just about any type of photo. For my layout I documented my daughter’s grad trip to the Twice concert and I let my photo add the color to the layout. I love how it turned out.

I was obsessed with the frames in this collection and this led me to the idea of creating a gallery wall style layout. This idea evolved a bit with me wanting to use more of the stickers so I went with these stitched strips using the stickers instead. This is the story of Addelie starting solids and my favourite part is the title – “I’m in my Eating Era”, it gave me a little giggle. I love how gold accents go so well with this collection.

When Traci first shared that the inspiration for this collection was Taylor Swifts new album I was a little concerned! I am not a Swiftie and have not heard her new album but when Traci started sharing sneak peeks my concern rapidly evaporated! This gorgeous neutral collection was so fun & easy to work with and I thoroughly enjoyed putting my pages together from Mothers Day this year!

I couldn’t help but make a layout with The Manuscript all about going to see the Eras Tour Movie last October! Ms. Swift herself is a master storyteller, which is one of the main reasons I love her so much, and her music is filled with references to memories and photographs and life experiences. I decided to play off the phrase “we were in screaming color” so the first thing I did was print our photos in different formats: sepia, negative, muted vintage, and then just as the photo is today. Once again I created the background paper using two of the patterned papers and blending them together in Photoshop, and then I built everything on top including a crumpled up piece of vellum, the layer underneath the photo is folded to look like a story book, and then tucking all the beautiful stickers in and around my photo. Final touch was the title using puffy sticker alphabets in rainbow order, because well, you know. Have a great time telling your favorite stories!

The Manuscript Collection is full of such amazing texture and distressing that I wanted to really emphasize, so I started by distressing and inking the 3x4 cards I printed to layer behind my photo. Next, I used an Xacto Knife to cut the ink drips that are on the patterned paper and tucked my papers and some of my stickers underneath. And to really kick it up a notch, I cut the drawers apart from a patterned 3x4 card and cut a few of the drawers that labels subjects had to with this era of our lives and bumped them up on foam to look like they're open. I love all the depth I was able to create!

This collection is fantastic and its vintage style literally made me fall in love. I made 2 tags playing with papers, colours, pastes and stickers, and I was thrilled with the result.

Karidan

The signature TNs in this kit are fire! I absolutely loved the star pattern paper and when I seen it paired with this bullet point style ledger paper I knew that it was one of my projects! The versatility of Tracis kits are just amazing!

Noemi

If you look at my gallery, you will see that I love working on very colorful projects, so it was a challenge for me to work with an almost monochromatic collection. Fortunately, the designs are so beautiful that I had a lot of fun creating this very "aesthetic" mini album. I decided to use small pops of color in the photos to add a bit of my style. I loved the result!

Donna

I love all the neutral colors in this collection. This is one of those layouts where I started the layout decorating and chose my photo later. After placing everything else, I chose a picture of me and my daughter which I converted to black and white to match the neutral theme I was going for.

Raechelle

When I first saw this gorgeous collection, an idea immediately popped into my head to create a collection of vintage perfume bottles. This collection has so many beautiful vintage elements that made it easy for me to get this project to completion.

Tracie

Oh gosh… I love a good storytelling collection! As soon as I saw this collection, I knew the story I wanted to tell. My daughter and her roommate had just ended their college chapter and tears had been shed. But so excited to see what their next chapter holds!

Tarrah

How gorgeous is this collection?! I just love the vintage storytelling vibe! I decided to turn the delicate frame stamp into a cut file and cut it from black cardstock, I then backed it with the gorgeous butterfly paper and used a selfie photo as I really wanted to include the 'It's Me, Hi' title!

Luly

I was inspired by the black & white & neutral theme to highlight these beautiful photos from a friend’s wedding. It does allow the photos to shine through while still showing Traci’s gorgeous collection!
