Teach Me Tuesday - No-Mess Paint Splatters!
Happy, fappy Tuesday! Today we’re getting messy (or not) and showing off different techniques for incorporating paint splatters into your layouts, whether it be the ones already included in the digital kits or your own from real mixed media!
Leah - Felicity
There are many ways to incorporate paint splatters already included in the digital kit in your layout. Adding the right amount of paint splatters, especially behind the photo or cluster, give a white space layout not only a fun feel to the page but also the oomph it needs to elevate it.

Nicole - Happy Day 7 Happy {Birth}Day
Hi everyone, for my Teach Me Tuesday project I decided to focus on adding splatters and paint but without the mess. I know some scrappers shy away from mixed media and I wanted to show how you can get the look without having to wait for things to dry or fear of the paint going places you may not want it.
To create my background, I started with a white piece of cardstock and pulled out a paint splatter stencil, paint splatter stamps and two colors of Tim Holtz Distress Stain. Using a combination of all three of these items I created my background. With the stencil and stamps I was able to place my ink splatters exactly where I wanted them, and the distress stain bottles have a dabber top so when you pounce the top onto your page you create perfect paint splats which dry almost instantly again no mess.
Once my background was complete, I pulled out papers and embellishments from two collections that coordinate, the Happy {Birth}Day and Happy Day to complete my page.

Ali
Hi everyone! It is Ali here with you today sharing some paint splatters tips. I had so much fun adding more paint splatters to this mixed media paper that Traci already created for the Felicity collection. An easy way to add paint splatters is adding stamps to the background which I did with this layout.
The title is added in a stamped circle and the paint splatters are all stamps from two different companies. If you want more control over your paint this is an easy way to get a mixed media background.
