Ali - Renewal

Hi everyone! It is Ali here with you today sharing a scraplift of our talented design team member Nicole. I picked this layout to lift because it took me out of my comfort zone with tearing paper. I had so much fun once I tore into the beautiful Renewal collection and created this layout. I love how the flower and heart paper soften the picture of me and my husband in our leather motorcycle jackets. The tearing of the paper is perfect to make it a little rough around the edges. Go check out Nicole’s other creations, she is amazing!

Heather - Various Collections

I had so much fun scraplifting Nicole Santos for Scraplift Saturday. Her gallery is non-stop inspiration. It was very challenging to choose just one layout. I chose the layout that I lifted because I loved the torn paper and the sparkly sequin elements on the diagonal.
When I created my layout, I had a little trouble finding the right colors for the story I wanted to tell. I ended up choosing a patterned paper from the All Is Calm and another from the My Oasis collection, and then I used a blender brush and ink pads to customize the colors to my liking. I also used a traveler’s notebook paper and some elements from the #Foodie Collection to embellish along with a couple of martini shakers created with my silhouette.
I love that Traci has so many great collections that can be used together to fit the mood and the theme of whatever story you might have to tell. Also, if you are a mint-chocolate lover, I highly recommend trying an Andes Mint Martini if you ever get the opportunity.
Thanks for the inspiration Nicole. I might have gone a little overboard on the sparkly diagonal embellishing, but it sure is pretty.

Kaye - Here Comes The Sun

Wow Nicole had so MANY amazing layouts to scraplift.. honestly going through her feed I saved several to my Scraplift album!! This layout though grabbed my eye with that rainbow layer going down the page so I knew that Traci’s kits fit PERFECTLY with this! From there I got summer vibes from it so going back into some projects that I am currently working on (I know 2018 come on but I am half way through that year) I knew that the picture of my boys and their cousins would be PERFECT!! Traci’s Here Comes the Sun collection was a perfect fit with this layout also as it talks all about sunshit and has a GREAT rainbowish pattern paper to go along with it! I do think the mixed media “brushes” in this kit also paired so well with how Nicole used sequences in her layout!

Hi everyone, today I am scraplifting the amazingly talented Nicole Santos. Nicole and I serve on two design teams together and I am always inspired by her work. I love scraplifting especially when my creative mojo is running low. Scaplifting is a great way to put together pages that I love quickly and easily since the base design is already done for me. The layout that I chose from Nicole was the perfect jumping off point for my layout. I loved the simplicity of the design and all the little details and texture she added. I knew it was the perfect layout to put my own spin on. Thanks Nicole, for the wonderful inspiration!
