Scraplift Saturday - Hybrid Team Member Erika!
Happy Saturday, scrappy people! It’s Scraplift Saturday and today we’re scraplifting the ultra-talented Erika (aka CaliforniaLucky!) Erika is a true hybrid scrapper in that she’s constantly trying out techniques of both and even has some fun digital scrapbooking tutorials using Canva on her instagram!
Traci - Wildflower
I adored the original layout I chose from Erika because it had everything I love about paper scrapbooking - tons of paper, tears, layering and even a fun banner element!
I had to adapt it to Life Crafted album size, so I omitted the column, but I think my layout stays pretty true to the spirit of the original!
I chose the Wildflower collection for this layout to match my adorable baby puppy and because it had perfect sentiments for the subject!

Trish - Summer Camp
I loved the way that the photo was the focus of this page of Erika's, and the way that the design was subtle and just accentuated the sweet moment. I used the small cluster in the left corner, the scattering of smaller elements, and the way she journaled on the white paper strips for my inspiration from her page.

The thing I love most about this page from Erika was the large journaling, so I copied that and made my page on a 6x8 layout.

Stephanie - Wildflower
I loved the big photo in Erika's layout. It was perfect for the photo my husband captured. The Wildflower collection came into mind as I saw the flowers she used underneath her picture, however, as I sifted through all the stickers. I knew the hearts were going to be my line across my double page spread today. I liked the idea of creating some visual texture, so I sewn across all the hearts. I completed this layout by adding some wood veneer stars and star sequins. I loved the inspiration from Erika and how fast this whipped up.
