Scraplift Saturday - Digital Team Member Trish!
Hey Hey Hey, it’s scraplift Saturday and today we are lifting extraordinary digital scrapbooker and my good friend, Trish! Trish is an amazing eclectic scrapbooker that is always finding ways to think outside the box with her scrapbook pages! You can often find her doodling straight on them on her tablet and she never confines herself to simple, tried and true compositions.
Check out the team lifts of her below and hop on over to her Instagram and give her a follow!
Traci - Filled With Intention
One thing I love about Trish’s pages is that she never thinks (like I often do) “Oh, I’ll just add a bunch of rectangular paper strips here and call it good.” Nah, she does amazing things with paper that I would never think of, so when I picked a page to lift, I found one that I could easily adapt to hybrid scrapbooking but allowed me to break out of my own box a little too!
I loved the way the paper triangles on Trish’s original layout folded up at the edges, so I did the same and added some distressing for good measure! Trish always uses a lot of mixed media too, and I wanted my page to look like an artist had gotten after it, so I used a star stamp to add some multicolored stars in and then messily splattered the whole thing with black ink!

Chantal - Anywhere But Here
Using more then 2 pictures on a layout is a challenge for me but I loved this layout by Trish so much. I have a thing for triangles.
By using triangles (or other shapes ) on your layout made out of patterned paper you can use a lot of different patterns without being to much.
Anywhere But Here is one of my favorite collections by Traci. I love the fresh and bright colors.
Trish inspired me to use 2 colored letters for the title. I used 4 layers of white cardstock cut out with dies to give the letters more body. With a blending brush I made them Yellow.
Love how this layout turned out.

Leah - My Person
This lovely page by Trish quickly caught my attention while browsing her gallery. The sunburst design is always a great way to spotlight the photo(s) in the middle. That is what I tried to achieve when I put together my layout. Traci’s My Person collection was the perfect choice as the arrows made it easy to create the sunburst effect. In addition, I was able to add word strips and scattered a few elements similar to what Trish did on her page. Overall, I am happy with how it turned out.

Danica - #indoorsy
I loved this layout by Trish because of all the fun squares that could be filled with different papers and items. Similar to the compartments of a pocket page but a lot less daunting for me. I used Traci and Ru’s #indoorsy for my lift. I hardly ever take selfies but I thought this one was very fitting for the theme of the collection I chose. What’s better than staying at home with a cute kitty?

Melinda - Happy Day
The first thing that caught my eye on the layout I chose to lift is those amazing painty rainbow stripes in the background. On that black and white grid paper. I love to work on a grid paper! I've stuck pretty closely to Trish's layout using a few different collections inlcuding the painty digitial mixed media from the Happy Day collection, the amazing stitching details from the Keep Chasing Rainbows collection & that A-MAZING wonky-ish rainbow stripe pattern paper from the Filled with Intention collection. This was a super fun layout to be inspired by and I really love the fun page I created, thanks Trish!
