Twenty of Our FAVORITE Layouts Using the Oh, What Fun! Collection!

Want to see the team’s own favorite layouts with the I Voted collection? Well we’ve got a massive roundup of all our faves to share and inspire you!

Traci

I’ve been using the Oh, What Fun! collection in my December Daily this year, but my favorite layout so far is this beautiful 12x12 using the wreath cut file and some of my favorite photos from an older Christmas photo shoot! The combination of the the large florals and light embellishment really makes this page pop!

Danica

I just love how this layout of Duncan turned out using Traci’s Oh What Fun Collection!!! She has so many cute word arts and bits that it was super hard to just pick a few to use!!! Her journal cards are fabulous too!!! I usually am big on the florals but I couldn’t help myself this time around on using all the word arts and strips that I could!!!

Michele

I absolutely adore these pictures of my niece from years ago, and this collection was perfect for highlighting them. The papers layer beautifully, and the coordinating embellishments enhance the design without overshadowing the photos.

Cassie

I loved mixing in some of the Travelers Notebook inserts along with a 6x4 card with the patterned papers for this layout.  There are so many great stickers in this collection!  I decided to focus on the cute snowflakes, holly and the strand of lights for this page.

Tara

I created this beautiful sunburst design using the Oh What Fun collection and am featuring a Christmas decoration that has been part of our annual Christmas decorations since joining the military in 2001.  I added some hand stitching using tone on tone floss.  I really loved playing with all these beautiful papers in this collection.  If you’d like to see this layout come together, you can watch my process video on my YouTube channel.

There are so many cute cards in Traci’s collection for Oh What Fun, plus I wanted to use a lot of the patterns from the patterned cards and bonus paper. I scraplifted an idea from Torey (also on the team) to document last year’s Gonzalez family gathering! Adding the cards and photos on an angle really add interest and movement- and makes everything even cuter! My favorite card- “In our Jolly Era” goes along with my TS obsession!

Shayla

I wanted to convey the feeling of snow falling softly in this winter concert layout, so I used plenty of snowflake elements and circles for my photos and the extra papers. I added little wooden buttons to the radio so that all the colours stayed in my chosen colour scheme. The final touch was the Frosty alpha which solidified the winter theme!

Nicole

I loved digging through all the icons and elements in the sticker bundles for Oh What Fun. So many different themes to pull from. I loved mixing the florals with the baking elements for a fun gingerbread themed layout, and I can’t seem to stop using the gingerbread alphas for fun titles.

Donna

This new Christmas collection truly brings joy to the season. The addition of the new wreath cut file creates a delightful combination. The intricate design of the wreath from the "Oh, What Fun!" collection inspired me to incorporate it into my projects immediately. I layered various elements to achieve the depth that's characteristic of my layouts, making the overall presentation vibrant and engaging.

My favourite project (so far) with Oh, What Fun has to be this shaker pocket flip open page. I had so much fun making it. As soon as I saw the paper I knew I wanted to make it into a shaker BUT I wanted it to be a shaker with a difference … so why not a shaker door!! I loved adding lots of messy stitching too for lots of texture. I’ve got lots of projects planned with this collection so I wonder if this will still be my fave at the end of the month!!

Bruna

This collection is so beautiful! Love the colors, especially the teal one. I've used some green watercolor and the package technique for the background and a big origami tree with various green and teal papers. Added some buttons, acrylic embellishments, sequins and snowflakes made with a paper punch. The title is from one of the signature 3x8.

Vanessa

I loved the mixed media elements in this Oh What Fun collection. I used the plaid mixed media, red paint splatters and green doily to create my background and then added lots of fun elements for the sticker sets for my layout. I love how it all came together.

Theresa

This layout for the Oh What Fun! release really struck me because of course wreaths are always so beautiful for Foundation Pages, but really because the wreath pops so stunningly on the red background! I tend to gravitate more towards lighter background papers, or background papers with some white space, but when I placed these elements on top of this paper it wow’ed me! Experimentation always leads to fun results and I love that in our craft!

Melinda

I love interactive elements in my December album and this fun pocket was so fun to make!! I can’t wait to add all of the North Pole mail we send and receive throughout the month!!
And did I mention, that floral on teal?! Swoon!

Melissa

I’ve been wanting to try this background paper technique for awhile. When I saw the Oh What Fun collection I knew it was the perfect opportunity. Traci’s paper designs are perfect for cutting into small strips but yet not losing the design. I printed my favorite papers from the collection on 8 1/2 x11 presentation paper and then cut them into small strips. Each strip has been distressed and stitched with my sewing machine. The stickers match the papers so perfectly. I used the print & cut feature and printed onto light weight cardstock. I just love the way this layout turned out!

Ronelia

My favourite Oh, What Fun layout is my Letters to You Layout because I got to use these two festive photos of my girls and I made this fun shaker pocket using the mailbox sticker from the collection. I love the balance of this two page layout and the colours of this collection.

Becky

I loved using the 3x8 cards to make into tags for this pocket page. I also love the gingerbread man paper so just couldn’t resist using this to create the pocket, adding some of the baking stickers to the bake page to finish off this page.

Nikki

I was SO excited when I saw the cute little vintage tv die cut sticker in Traci Reed’s Oh, What Fun! Collection. I knew exactly what page I was going to use it for as soon as I saw it. I enlarged it and flipped it so it would be double sided to create a pocket within the two TV’s. I used the gorgeous alpha to create the number for my 12th story and added it to the back side of the TV. This custom piece was placed next to a  2”x2” pocket page to show all the new Christmas Movies that I plan to watch!

Tracie

I had been struggling to finish up my holiday project from 2023 and this collection came along at just the right time! I love the traditional colors and the bold journal cards. They were just the right touches that I needed to finish up my Christmas Day photo page!

The Oh What Fun collection is exactly what its name suggests: so much fun! It has all the elements to document a month full of magic. I just started creating my December album, and these pages have been my favorites so far as I'm experimenting with the 6x6 size.
