October Daily 2021 Days 6-10
October Daily 2021 | Day 6
If you're not adding ghost marshmallows to your hot chocolate on rainy days in October, are you even living your best spooky life? I had this super cute photo of the kids holding their hot chocolate and I knew I wanted this page to make more of an impact than the photo really allowed for by itself, so I decided to make this darling cut file and cut it on Diamond Glitter card stock from Cardstock Warehouse
Then cut it again, horizontally flipped, so that I could have more glitter cardstock on the back and sandwiched one of my papers from the October Mood collection printed on acetate between the two for a cool semi-transparent divider page!
If you know me, you know I HATE clear pages in my album because the "backside" always bothers me, but this is a great compromise!

Today I'm scrapping my newest pair of glittery moth wing earrings from @okaycutieclay - they're perfect for Halloween, but I have a feeling I'll be using them year round!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I only had one page to work with today due to having the backside of yesterday's cut file on the right, so I made the most of it and created a waterfall pull for my photos using the earring backing that came with my new pretties as a pull!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then I used my silhouette to cut out some butterflies in two sizes to layer and hand-stitched some butterfly trails to embellish!

Finn and I got our hippie witchy vibes on when we went out on a mommy and me date last week and picked out some crystals ❤️ I thought this, combined with the Harvest Moon collection was a perfect addition to my October daily!
I decided to document each stone we picked out by printing photos at 2x2 with the name of the crystal + what it’s used for printed directly on each photo. I used a 2x2 page protector to gather them all together and then added my title to the “empty” pockets on patterned paper!Credits: Harvest Moon Collection by Traci Reed

My teens, lucky ducks that they are, got to spend a field trip at Dollywood and were kind enough to take photos for me, aren’t they the best?
I had the back side of a 2x2 page protector to work with and only limited room on my 5x8.25 canvas on the other side, so I decided to make two photo flips to reveal my journaling!

I knew I wanted to make a big, huge adorable patterned paper caramel apple, but it took me a few days to figure out just WHAT I wanted it to look like…I’m SO glad I waited because it came out so perfectly!
Finn and I picked up some caramel apples downtown and oh man, my sweet tooth is still craving them!
