October Daily 2021 Days 11-15
October Daily 2021 | Day 11
Whewwww....Day 11 of October Daily features my new littles because black cats and Halloween...DUH! I loved this new kit from Meg Mullens and Amanda Yi @sweetshoppedesigns called "So Cute It's Scary" for this page because it's a Halloween collection done in sort of baby-ish colors, so it was perfect!
I printed the spiderweb paper on transparency to create a divider and then kept the rest of the page pretty simple, adding some messy bling at the end!

Oh my glob you guys! I had SO MUCH FUN making this background paper with the leaf stencil from the Cocoa Daisy Gather collection + the stamp set also from Cocoa Daisy and my Catherine Pooler inks! I had this vision of falling water color leaves with stamped leaves over the top and I cannot believe I didn't mess it up!
I used the background as a place to tell the story of my middlest getting invited to stay in a cabin in Pigeon Forge for a few days with SIX OTHER 15 year old friends.
The parents who hosted them? Saints, I tell ya!

October Daily 2021 | Day 13
When I started this page, I had one direction that I wanted to go in. I recently found this ANCIENT collection that I designed waaaaay back around 2014 for Recollections that I thought matched the vibe of the Haunted Mansion so well with all its frames and candelabras and skeletons.
When I was flipping through the paper pad, I found these silver-foiled frame papers and I had the idea to fit the poster for the movie in one of the frames.
Beyond that, I struggled a bit. I do like how it turned out in the end but it took me a while to get to a happy place!

This is IT...the last spread I can fit in October Daily 2021 Vol. 1 *sigh* Why am I the way that I am? It was the perfect place to stop though, because I was able to stick that double-sided recipe in there and not have to worry about the "last page"
I used the Cocoa Daisy Gather collection for this page and decided to let the folded planner paper do the hinge work for me! I attached one of the tags from the Classified kit to the inside of the fold for my journaling, and then trimmed the outer flap to fit!

October Daily 2021 | Day 15
Time to start a new album, and with a new album you need a cover page, so I decided to make Day 15 a transition page with a photo of pumpkins I took recently paired with a cut file I designed. I cut out the cut file on vellum and didn't want to adhere it so that you would see the adhesive, so I slipped both the photo and the cut file into a page protector instead!
In front of that, I used a tag and TN card from the Cocoa Daisy Umber and Gold collection to create a pocket for a "currently" page half way through the month!
