Mix It Up Monday: Bountiful + Ex Libris Galaxias
Hello and welcome to the seventeenth edition of our fun series: Mix It Up Monday! Today the we’re combining Bountiful and Ex Libris Galaxias collections! At first glance, you wouldn’t think these two go together, but the rich tones and themes blend perfectly!
Check out the team’s examples below and I can’t wait to see you mix these two collections up too!

I leaned heavily into the pinks in my layout using Bountiful and Ex Libris Galaxias. Those and the hearts in both of the collections worked great together with the jewel tones in both for my photos and layout idea. I also added in one of Traci’s stitched Life 365 templates to tie it all together.

What's more beautiful than reading a book, in autumn, under the stars?!? These 2 collections seem so different, but they intersect perfectly!

My layout was inspired primarily by the word paper from Bountiful and the book paper and star paper (both of which I fussy cut) from Ex Libris Galaxias.
In addition, I used the rich green paper and green and yellow stickers from Bountiful, along with the library card TN paper, book nerd tag from the Cards as well as various stickers from Ex Libris Galaxias.
I created an elevated main cluster of stickers to draw the eye to the photo of my sweet grandson.

I love the cozy vibes of the new Bountiful collection and the magical library feels of the Ex Libris Galaxias collection is such a perfect pairing for it!

When we do challenges that combine multiple kits, I always go for the templates or sketches that have lots of little spaces for PAPERS! Papers are always my favorite parts of the kit, because they just set the colors and tones so well! Both of these kits also lend themselves to lots of florals pieces and leaves-- and they match so well! Since we were asked to use Ex Libris, of course I had to do a picture of little Allie reading.. because there's no better Fall Activity! I made my photo black and white so it wasn't adding even MORE color to the page, and then I surrounded the photo with the flower pieces and lots of the little books.
