Hello and welcome to the Twenty-Second edition of our fun series: Mix It Up Monday! Today we’re combining Island Time and Moonlit, two seemingly very different collections that actually have very similar tropical vibes! I love seeing how the team mixed these two up and I hope in inspires you to do the same!

These two collections reminded me of an old trip to Bali! Island Time to remember the Indonesian island, and moonlit, its fantastic sunsets, dancing until late in the evening on the beach!

I had this sunset photo with silhouettes of palm trees. I knew it would be perfect for the Moonlit and Island Time kits.

I’ll be honest, MIUM are always my favorite projects— I love figuring out how to combine collections. What I gravitate towards, always, is layers layers layers! I love layering up papers from both collections, and I really loved how the purples, pinks, and teals all played off of each other. I tried to very intentionally use flowers from Both collections, and keeping the photos black and white really made the “toes in the sand” card pop. And how much did I love the layered frame that I could tuck behind the paper layers I already had?! I love being able to quickly add more and more layers.

I love being able to combine collections - it is so much fun! Moonlit and Island Time were perfect for capturing this day I spent on the beach having yummy drinks with friends.
