Let's Hear It For The Boys with Celia!
Hello crafty friends, It's Celia and I have a boy layout to share some inspiration on how to use The Manuscript Collection in a more masculine way.
First I resized one of the Travelers Notebook signatures to fit my needs and resized two patterned papers from the retired Galentine's Day collection to print on craft paper, giving them a whole new look and making them match The Manuscript much better.
After I printed and cut my title with the Black Alphas, I felt like they weren't standing out enough from my background pattern. To fix this without adding covering the background completely I grabbed some vellum. I ripped the tops and bottoms of the page to add texture and now when I add my title it stands out without losing the background.
Then came the easy part of embellishing. I made an embellishment cluster for each photo, making sure each one had an oval piece and a couple of butterflies. it was hard not to use any of the flowers, but I wanted to keep it more. considering the subject.
