Haunting Step-by-Step Accordion Album by Tarrah

Do you have lots of spooky photos from a past Halloween or perhaps you want to create an album all ready for this year’s spooky photos!

Let me show you how easy it is to create an Accordion style mini album from 4x sheets of 12’ x 12’ black cardstock and how to create pockets, tags, vellum shaker pockets and more using the gorgeous Haunted collection by Traci Reed Designs!

Step 1. Take 4 sheets of black 12’ x 12’ plain cardstock and trim them in half.

Step 2. Score and fold each piece at the 6-inch mark as shown below

Step 3. Take 2 of the 6’ x 12’ pieces and glue as shown below be added.

Step 4. Repeat the above until the pages are all glued together, should look like the ones in images below.

Now for the fun part - decorating the album!

For the front cover, I kept the cover plain and decorated it using the Haunted House and other stickers and embellishments, I adhered the house with foam tape, the Creepy title and the cloud and moon. I added some glitter glue to various things on the front like the spider webs and the pumpkin eyes.

The first double spread below, I created a pocket behind both photo mats, leaving off the adhesive from the very top and tucking in some tags from the Haunted collection.

The next double spread below I created a smaller pocket on the right side to tuck in tags and a photo and to be able to add more photos later if I wish.

The back cover below, I dedicated to wanting candy lol! I added a photo of myself here and added everything candy themed from the Haunted collection.

Flipping the album over to the other side, the next spread below, I printed the spider web paper onto a sheet of vellum and created a pocket on the left-hand side adding sequins behind it and adding a smaller one on the right side. I also added a pull-out ticket and tag top here.

The last spread below, I created an opening using the ‘Beware’ title and added the star papers here. On the right side, I created a vertical pocket and included a pull-out photo mat.
