Guest Feature: Becky Gotch

Traci here! It was an absolute BLAST having Becky as my guest contributor for the release of my Christmas collections this year! She blew me away with her creative approach to using the product and turned out to be a lovely person as well! When I bring in guests, I love to snap them up and keep them on the team when they blow my socks off, and if you check out Becky’s projects below, I think you’ll see why I kept her full time!

When Traci asked me to be a guest designer for December I was thrilled that I was going to get to work with two such fun lines, All Is Calm and All is Bright. I love all aspects of the digital kits, but if I had to chose my favourite part it would be the embellishments and the best thing with digital is that you can print as many as you like! This is shown in my first layout where I created a circle of embellishments and placed my photo on top of them - the embellishments showcase the photo beautifully!

It was also fun to use some of the journal cards to create quick and easy Christmas cards. I placed a journal card on a white base and then finished it off with some embellishments raised on foam pads. A few sequins or Nuvo drops finished them off with some bling!

As I don’t have a 12x12 printer at home and it is difficult to get digitals printed in the U.K. I printed all the papers at home on my A4 printer. This means that I have to be canny when it comes to creating 12x12 pages! By cutting the paper, layering and using strips I was able to create full pages with smaller papers as demonstrated in my banner layout and my bauble layout.

Of course the TN papers are perfect for creating pages in my TN and I had fun adding lots of embellishments too!

My final project was to create the mini album in a box. I found the instructions on Pinterest and it was so easy to make this using the off cuts of paper I had left from my other projects. Of course, when I needed a bit extra I was able to just print some more out!

More amazing projects from Becky!
