Wildflower is one of my favourite spring collections! I love the palette, the florals and the cute converse icons!!
I created the majority of this Traveller’s Notebook spread in Photoshop Elements. This is a great way of creating a project that has lots of interest without the bulk of lots of paper layers - perfect for a Traveller’s Notebook (where I want to keep things as flat as possible). I always like to add a few additional paper layers to my projects, so I did that with the die cuts and some hearts punched out of papers.

The Wildflower collection is one of my favorites from Traci! For this layout I have used a color block squeme with a dark blue background and some hand stitching.†
The hexagon paper inspired me to do little shelves for my photos and I started from there. I have used a stencil and stamps for the background, some buttons and enamel dots for details and the beautiful flowers and hearts from the collection for my embellishments.

Wildflower is one of my favourite collections from Traci and so I knew I had to join in to create a layout with it. What I didn’t realise when I signed up was that I was going to have the perfect photos to use! I’m embroidering a pair of canvas shoes and in this collection Traci has designed the most darling canvas hi-tops so of course I had to include them in my layout! I concentrated mainly on the greens and blues from this collection but added a few pops of yellow which really lift it.
I’ve done a short YouTube video showing how this came together. If you’d like to have a look here’s the video:

The colors in the Wildflower collection are some of my most favorite colors Traci has chosen! I had so much fun playing with the Wildflower collections to make this super fun page. I made my background using one of the patterned papers from the collection and layering a bunch of the Ellie’s on top before printing it out. Since I wanted to keep my embellishments for this page pretty minimal, I decided to only use heart (that would match well with my background paper) and one word phrase. To give these elements a bit more character though, I glued together the same piece 2-3 times for each element to give some lovely dimension.

I love how versatile Traci’s collections are - they are so chockful of cards, embellishments and papers! I love to look at the colors from my photos to help select the mood of my pages. I love how the sentiments really convey the feelings I have spending time with my friends for our girls weekend! I have many different styles of pages that I use for my“yearly” scrapping - I often use pocket pages to create quick, but beautiful, pages. Fun memories captured quickly is my go to!
