It’s Election Day again and even though (thankfully) it’s not a big election year this year, your vote in the smaller elections still matters, so make sure you’re a) voting and b) documenting the process! Allie - West Wing Notebook using We The People

Allie used the We The People collection to scrap her favorite President - President Bartlett from The West Wing! She decided to make a mini book to track her favorite parts of the show.

I'll confess: I am 1000% obsessed with the show West Wing. So I did what any ... "normal" .... hyper-focused crafter does-- I made a scrapbook about my West Wing rewatch notes! I included some extra bits with my favorite quotes and characters, which was especially easy with Traci's kits! I used a combination of elements from Indivisible, Memorial Day, and We the People, as well as my TV series tracker kit. I used some fun binder rings to tie it all together, and made sure to laminate the cover so that it holds up throughout all the rewatches on the couch!

Danica Chose paired the We The People collection with quilt-inspired templates for an Americana paper-pieced feel for her layouts!

When I am scrapping a project using a specific product the first thing I do is find the perfect photo for it. I often use templates when I scrap to save time. I picked Brook Magee's Memory Quilt Templates #2 for this project because they look very Americana which goes along with the theme and subject of my layout Election Day. I love a clustery layout and even for a more simple page I will always have some sort of cluster work on it. Clusters can have florals on their own or combined with non floral elements. I often change elements in my clusters until I get something I am happy with.

Traci created this layout for primary voting in 2020 using the blue star + red/cream strip papers from the We The People collection to mimic the American flag! A washi-hinge provides a flap for hidden journaling using one of the journal cards in the collection.

Indivisible

Designed during the activist summer of 2020, Indivisible celebrates one of the driving principals of our country, that no matter our differences, we should always strive to be one nation: indivisible. Despite what seems like a neverending battle for justice, Indivisible is a collection that celebrates the fundamental belief in the perserverance of the American spirit. Perfectly designed for THIS moment in time, Indivisible is about the patriotic act of standing up for what you believe in, marching in solidarity and having faith that your country can and WILL be better through activism!

There are some adorable patriotic masks in the Indivisible collection, so a page about 2020 patriotism felt appropriate! Traci paired the ombre woodgrain with the beautifully vibrant cobalt floral for an eye-popping page full of gorgeous color!

After the 2020 election, Traci scrapped this page in her gratitude album about the results and included the FREE 46th President cards available in the store too!
