4x4 Pride Mini Album with Heart-Shaped Cut Outs by Traci using the Fierce Collection!
Hey, guys! Traci here and I am so excited to share with you my latest creation using the brand new Fierce collection!
Today, I am showcasing this darling 4x4 mini album that is sure to capture your heart. It features heart cut outs and shaker pages that add just the right amount of whimsy to your memories.
I just love how the bold colors of the Fierce collection perfectly complement the details of this mini album!
The album is two-sided and the “front” side features a rainbow series of 4x4 squares cut from the Fierce patterned cards. I cut hearts out of the middle of all the 4x4s with my silhouette and then started putting the album together accordion-style (check out the process video at the end for the full tutorial.)
The opening pages are a 4x6 card trimmed to 4x4 with added letter stickers, and then an embellishment collage with the year. The contrast of that rich blue and red is so good!
The next pages include a confetti shaker flip up page and some photos from our first Pride parade. I made sure to embellish boldly throughout and leave space for captions as well.
Flip up the shaker pocket to reveal a photo!
I repeated this pattern throughout, flip up + standalone photo, but for this page, instead of a shaker, I used holographic sticker paper to make a holographic window between the flip up and the photo underneath.
You can see the holographic paper better here, isn’t it so cute?!
The final page is another shaker flip up!
On the “back” side, the composition is more simple with cards, collages and full-page photos instead of the heart cut outs and flip-ups.
This allowed me to showcase photos that wouldn’t fit in the hearts easily as well as create fun collages!
On the back is where I cut down a 4x6 card for a large chunk of journaling about our experience, and I used the actual cut-out hearts from the front of the album in my clusters as well.
For the last page, I trimmed down this TN signature and it fit this 4x4 size perfectly!
The last thing I did was adhere some sequins to the cover with some strong Nuvo liquid glue! to finish off the album! Check out the process video below!
