Hey all my scrapping Hawties! Lizzy here with a fabo customer spotlight feat. a regular customer of Traci’s and fellow scrapping enthusiast, Linz! *insert loud cheer here*

Hey Linz…thank you so much for being with us today and letting me gush on you for a second. It’s always so fun to see those amazing layouts of yours layered with Traci Reed goodies!
Speaking of layouts…I have a few questions for ya.
Q: First one, why do you digi-scrap? Is it for the artistic outlet, purely to capture memories or a combo of both? I’ve never really thought about it, but I’d have to say it’s a combo of the two. I love that my little guy will have all these great memories to look back on (through MY point of view, of course… not like he’ll have vivid memories of life as a 2 year old, LOL). At the same time, life with a toddler is hectic as can be so I definitely look forward to my scrap time when he’s asleep for the night. It’s a much-needed stress reliever.
Q: Did you paper-scrap before? If so, how long did you paper-scrap and what made you try digi? Nope, never did. I actually started as a siggy maker on a large parenting site. As I became more familiar with different techniques in Photoshop, I started incorporating digi scrap elements into those siggies. So I think it was kind of a natural transition from siggies to layouts.
Q: How long have you been digi-scrapping? I started in May of this year — on NSD to be exact!
Q: What would you say your scrapping style is? Um…great question! Anyone know?! LOL. I’m a bit of a clutter bug, so lots of layering and clusters. I can usually rock the white space thing too though. Seriously, I just don’t know.
Q: What element can you not live without? Several! Gotta have staples, stitching, worn overlays and string.
Q: Linz, that little guy always featured in your layouts is just too cute! Besides that fact that your lil son is a perfect model, what type of camera do you use to capture those great photos? You’re too kind! My camera is nothing special — Canon PowerShot A540.
Q: Any tips for parents of little ones on how to get such great photos? Honestly? Just takes LOTS!! Seriously, during a normal “session” I just chase him around and snap ‘em as quickly as I can. Most days he’s a total camera-lovin’ ham (lucky me!). Even when he’s not, I just take like 50-60 shots so I’m bound to get a few good ones. I do a bit of photoediting afterwards, but nothing major. I mostly just adjust the curves and play with some overlays in PS (soft light is my FAVE).
Q: Your layouts always do such a fantastic job of featuring a specific kit! Will you show us 3 of your favorite Traci Reed product layouts?

Q: Lastly, what is your all-time fave Traci Reed kit to date?
Oooh… tough question! Hmm. I think It Boy is my all-time fave, though I’m really diggin’ Preppy Autumn at the moment. I can’t choose!
Thanks Linz for being with us today…it was so fun looking at that lil cutie in your layouts and getting to know you a little bit better! Be sure to leave some bloggie love and layout love for Linz and be back soon when we reveal the winner of Jenny’s template challenge.
