It’s National Lollipop day…and let’s talk sweets!!!

Wahoo! What a great day~ National lollipop day! I couldn’t figure out who started the holiday or when, or why, but there are many mentions of it online so I guess it’s true. So, go out and eat a lollipop today – you know you want to! I highly recommend a Tootsie Pop, but any lollipop will do. When was the last time you had a lollipop? I think it’s time to raid my candy stash and go grab one! When I was a little girl one of my favorite suckers was the rocket pops, anyone remember those? They were muticoloured and in the shape of a rocket and pure, sweet, caramalized sugarey goodness!!! I didn’t have very good teeth as a young girl, many cavities, and all back teeth capped…anyways, I am sure you know where this story is headed, LOL! I used to like to chew them, I bit down into the rocket pop, and it got stuck….really stuck!! As I pulld it out, I also pulled the cap out….try explaining that to your mother and your dentist! LOL.
