Today’s post is from Natascha Broers.
Can you believe we’re nearly halfway through 2014?! Happy Father’s Day, indeed.
I gave my little lady some ideas for what she could make for Father’s Day, and she chose making cards! I showed her some of Traci’s kits in the Shoppe and the big winner was Traci’s Heroic kit!
Which is totally suitable since her daddy is her hero – besides her grandpa, hahaha!
I let the little lady choose between some of the cards and the papers after printing them out, and we began cutting. She chose the card with the comic book paper.
After that we started cutting out the clipart. And then we looked at the placement of the ellies she chose! Since she is not a very patient little lady..I started making the card so she could finish it by writing a personal message in it.
And this…this is the result of cutting the ellies and assembling it! She did a great job picking everything out, don’t you agree?!! I love the result <3
But I couldn’t stop there…..
I had another special gift to make. You see, I have a fantastic opportunity to visit London, and I’ve made my plans & booked the flight. But it happens to be….when the hubby and I are supposed to be celebrating our anniversary! We talked it over, and he’s fine with it, actually.
So I made a little card just for him, using Traci’s What a Man kit. Here’s the result:
I’m going to write some personal stuff inside the card and give it to him before I leave. Here’s hoping he loves both cards!
Have you made a fantastic gift recently? Tell me about it!
